Community Rapid Response Funding

Goals

Environmental health issues impacting local communities are often emergent and unexpected, requiring rapid response and support that an extended research project would fail to address. Acknowledging this, the CHARMED Center makes available rapid response funds at the request of community organizations. Within 48 hours, we can disburse up to $10,000 to support, in addition to timely consultation around addressing emergent concerns.

Who can apply?

  • Community-based organizations in the greater Maryland region (extending north from Washington, DC through Baltimore, MD and including central Pennsylvania)
